Newbie: Sweihan Sundowner Trip Report
The heat is on.....
but nothing can stop us from going into the sand! We all met on time at the Sweihan filling station hitting the sand after the safty briefing.
All did very well in the Sweihan classical round. The playtime at the big dune gave all time to floor the pedal or stretch the legs a bit,
We had the standard casualties. Intermittend overheating (Jeep) and loss of 4WD (guess what.... yes, another Jeep ).
Thanks you BouJebba for the 2nd lead, Yehia for bringing the AUH members and sweeping, Mood and Tweety for recovery services.
Abou Jaguar, Jerry-Jr, Oly and Xtreme, I hope you enjoyed this afternoon like I did...
See you all next time
:hat:

Re: Newbie: Sweihan Sundowner Trip Report
Thanks Jo,
I think everyone enjoyed this nice trip, it was amazing and with all the chat at the end.
But as Jo said today, if you are driving a Jeep, then expect anything (Sorry Abu Jaguar and Yehia), it was really bad that Yehia didn't continue.
The temp. today was a little warm just 50. Anyway the sensors in Jo's shoes registered 58 sand temp.
Thank you all for this wonderful trip and nice to meet you all Jo, Tweety, Yehia, Mood, Boujebba, Oly, Abu Jaguar and Jerry Jr.
Hope to see you all again soon.

Thank you Jo for this hot trip, It was nice to drive with all of you guys.
I made it home safely (thanks for mood ) and today I will send the car to Western Motors.
About loosing the 4WD in my car, it was just a demo to show my passenger ( Ina) how organized are we as a club when something goes wrong, thanks to Jo and mood for helping in this demo.
see you next week.
