I'm Going to The Desert Friday !!! 12/6 WHY:

what a day, dropped Alex off at the airport, home and then to the desert,
all meet on time and left on time, and great Family day was had by all

i am proud to say i had the first stuck, with 2 more to follow, (need to start closing me eyes]
every one did well and made it out in one piece, the kids had fun at the sand dune coming down on there sand boards,

Joy... I had a GREAT time! Thanks to everyone for the support and encouraging words and PATIENCE... I would never have made it up that one dune after 8 attempts, without you all! I did conquer my one fear... backing up... had to do it 7 times... not afraid anymore

Everyone had fun, everyone got stuck, really a lot of fun, we all enjoyed.
The weather was around 46 outside with the sand boiling below.
Everything was going great until Almagboul Mafia hijacked the trip to the mafia style, but that was a part of the fun.
Thank you all Guys, Ali, JC, Viking, Lionbar, Khaled, Taher and of course Sukilala, and it was nice meeting with the others.
See you again all in the sand once again.

It was really good trip, although it was hijacked from me at the last bit as usual by one of the Almakboul like they did before and they always do but I enjoyed leading it and we all had fun, Thank you JC and Joy for this nice trip.

What a day, the sand overall was very forgiving, appart from the odd place. The sun on the otherhand was right there in ur face, man was it hot out there.
The end was a circle of great conversation, chilling in the warm evening, until Sandy switched off the growling Hummer, then the temperature just seemed to drop to a comfortable level (its amazing how much heat these vehicles produce).
A great pleasure meeting everyone again plus a couple of new faces i.e. Shane and Sadie who's only request was to see camels (we didnt disappoint the little lady!!!)

LOL... sorry about that... had to keep the camel loving Sadie happy... Happy 5 year old = happy adults It sure did reduce the temp though when I turned the beast off!
