Follow the Gallopi - Report

5 cars met on time in AD one we met in Sweihan.
We went to the deflation point and had a short briefing especially for ADCabanaBoy as an absolut Newbie.

We started with some small dunes in the area in front of the powerline. Later we hit the higher dunes. At sunset we enjoyed a nice bbq, shisha and chat.

CrazySheep hits with his bumper the sand and damaged his cooling system. His front driver needs a second trial after this he decided to speed up. Hope your damage is not so big and we see you back in the sand soon.

Chabuk thank you for your second lead. Well done.
Gecko thank you for showing us again how to do an popout and how to fix it again.
ADCabanaBoy well done with your Defender see you next time.

Congratulation Frank for your first „official“ trip lead; well done. Despite some members having had concerns, you managed to select a suitable track with challenging stretches

I enjoyed being a passenger sweeper following the track. The only disadvantage is you are much faster out off the car and once “your” car has passed you are doomed to walk

Our “First Timer” ADCabanaBoy did very well; only the Defender was short of breath – sometimes But remember my friend it is all experience and you may have to train your horses on how to get out of a nice bowl. Or you seek advise from Gallopi or Frank - or have a pack of cigarettes with you – just in case

CrazySheep practiced a “crazy” jump, broke his lung and the patient had to be “escorted” to the exit. Hope you made it back to Abu Dhabi and your sheep is in the ICU for lung treatment. Anyway we could not find any remains on our way out despite paying special attention

A pop our was (again) demonstrated in a proper manner by our friend Gecko, followed by a “fly over humps” causing a “touchable” buckle in one rim. Next time my friend you “deflate” the top of the tyre and you may still drive along with air in the bottom of it

Well done Chabuk, especially the fast drive back to “Frankies Camp” after escorting the CrazySheep to the exit

As expected we (Heidi an I) enjoyed a relaxing afternoon with AD4x4, even I was forced to do some walking exercises.
