Night Drive >>>>> mid of the week Tuesday 29-6 -REPORT

Report Part I (at time of press, Mood and the rest are still out in the dunes).

We met at Al Faya ADNOC at 6:00 pm (some of us did, anyway) By sunset we were deflating and ready to go. The attendees:

Mood

Tawalbeh

Waqar's sister
Seamutt
Susaan
We were sorry to see Cherif not show. We think Tawelbeh made him stay and work.

We somehow managed to pick up Bulldozer along the way, too!

A nice technical drive with a few stucks (Tawalbeh should be nominated for a "Golden Shackle"). Imad's winch came in very handy, as did Bulldozer's plyers (thanks for moving that fence, guys...that's a first). Thanks to Mood for organizing!!!

Biggest surprise of the evening:
Mood brought coffee! No baked goods, but shwaya shwaya. Maybe next week!

Most memorable comment heard on the radio:
Waqar: "Can someone pick up my mother?"

Best stuck:
Tawalbeh's bowl

Oddest recovery:
Holding down the razor wire for Susan to drive over

Lovely coffee, Mood....don't care what Said said.

Seamutt and Susan both headed back early. Updates to come???

Report Part II

After Susan, Seamutt and his passenger left we continued towards the big dune SIDE CRESTING all the way! couple of second attempts and all went through! only one stuck at the end, which required only minor pull.

We drove to the big dune where we took a break in the amazing night sky and chatted about the ADAC.

Went back to the main road and inflated, after a couple of cigars back to abu dhabi in a fast convoy reached home 12.40.

Susan has pretty much captured it all, but to emphasis imad's winch came very handy winch on!

It was geat to get back in the sand for a quick check of the jeep "mods" before heading out on holiday

Great to see everyone and my passenger had a great time and commented on how friendly and inviting everyone was.

You cannot immagine how much I was feeling good today. It's because that I get together with my Patrol and the sand again after 3 weeks disconnect. Was great trip . Thank you all my freinds. Cheers
