Almost all registered members met on time at the deflation point except one (No worries Maddog I wont mention your name )
Four members that shared an afternoon of leading, 2nd lead and sweeping through the dunes of Al Khatim.
I hope you enjoyed the different trip and got another piece of experience in your bag.
I enjoyed it and I think you did well. It was a good group and that might be one reason why it was so much fun.
Thanks Khaiwi and Maddog (4-2) for joining us and helping out.

Thanks Viking,
Great day and great trip, first fun the meeting spot but all got there using a few dirrerent routes and some with early deflating (just in case).....
Rolf, Waqar ,Fox, well done in your leads and second leads, Fox maximising the Jeep ability to take steep dunes with no top!(Forgetting the LWB's behind), Waqar thought we were doing a time trial for the FI ..... Rolf, pleasure following you and your bumpers stayed on...hope the car gets sorted and let us know the outcome of the tank issue as intrigued..
Khaiwi and Maddog thanks for your support too, good to have you guys about too.....
Look forward to the followup....
Cheers
Sean

Re: GPSLS trip 20th Aug -Report
Cheers guys, hope you enjoyed the chance to see a desert drive from a different perspective and you're able to take away something from that.
My late arrival - well lets just say that the billion dollar GPS sattelite system perhaps really is better than my own in built sense of direction!
Don't worry Eric, I'm not gonna mention crests, or jeeps or recoveries or anything like that 4-2 and counting!
Cheers team.
ps the NZ All Blacks had an awesome win over South Africa tonight - yesssssss!!!

No worries - Two reasons for parking on the crest. I was not used to the extra ballast of my Swedish guest and also I wanted to show him how it feels to get stuck so mission completed (twice )maddog wrote: Don't worry Eric, I'm not gonna mention crests, or jeeps or recoveries or anything like that 4-2 and counting!

Congratulations to the win - I heard it was Tri-Nations in mudwrestling at the moment

You'd either be a very brave man, or foolish, to call the men in black mudwrestlersViking wrote:

Re: GPSLS trip 20th Aug -Report
It is good thing that these sports (rugby, cricket etc) is only played by the former states of the British empire so you dont have to compete with the rest of the (modern) world
By the way - is it called Tri-Nations because it is three countries in the world playing or what
By the way - neither brave or foolish. Just a BIG MOUTH!!
