ive - BBQ - Chat = Fun - Trip report

Pumukl and me left for Sweihan around 09.30 for preparing the BBQ dinner. We also had some (waiting) time to play around.

With the support of Paul we didn’t have to drive back to AD for meeting with the convoy, tanks Paul.

After the deflation and a short briefing we entered the dunes toward the bbq place and “drop off” some passengers.

We left the bbq for the second stage and shortly after leaving we had the first stuck. A few more were to follow. Finally we managed to have two cars in a nice bowl and difficulties to drive them out. The main reason for having difficult times was the car behind the first stuck car ignored the difficulties and followed number one. It is important to remember the trip briefing were this point was emphasized.

Well, finally we all made it back to the bbq. The lamb was already waiting us. We met with Adiga’s ANIT group for which the boss distributed the first stars.

Later Abu Samra’s group arrived and we could dig out the second lamb. Time for a shisha and chat.

My guest enjoyed the trip as much as I did. It is always a pleasure being out with the family.

Although we arrived really late with abusamra group coz of facing some difficulties ourselves. Urs treated us very well serving us that hot lamp. Thank u very much for the great evening. And for the super tasty sand lamp. It was nice meeting with u urs and everyone. C u all on the bbq party next week.

We had a lot of fun on the trip with some interesting recoveries. Our guest really enjoyed the day and founf out that the desert driving is not that scary as she thought it would be. The food was great and a big thank you to you and your assistance that prepared the meal.

Thanks for a very nice trip Urs, it has been a long while since I have been able to go on one of your trips and as usual I enjoyed it.

The BBQ and camping after the trip was nice.

Thanks to all the chefs and cooks for a wonderful meal an thanks to Urs for arranging the trip.
