Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Contact Number

Dear members. I posted this information some time ago on Advanced to Marshal Forums, please take a note of the contact number, as it may assist you with serious injuries, snake bites etc. As I said in the original post, I hope no one from AD4x4 ever has to use it.


Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing have reassured me that they will respond to any call we as a club should have to make where we may require URGENT patient transfer by helicopter from isolated areas. This means serious and life threatening injuries that could not be dealt with by normal ambulance.

Should you ever need to contact them, please ring the Air Wing Control Room on their direct number 02 4493000, the helicopters carry Garmin GPS and obviously the crews know how to respond to GPS Coordinates so it is important that this information is relayed to them, preferably by an Arabic speaker so no translation mistakes occur.

I am advised that if we were to ring the central ops room on 999 that the staff there may not recognise GPS coordinates ( they are currently recieving training)

So once again, please carry this number with you. 02 4493000 and pray we never have to use it.
