Thanx for all the hard work behind this, hope his will stop all the arguments and private PM's & calls to the Chairman Marshal's asking for Upgrade, if u full fill the requirements apply or wait till u reach full confidence & with proper gear to apply

You will never stop those

Good system, nice and clear, the old system required that marshals have a limited mechanical knowlege, is that still true? Also how do you guys know if somone has the right equipment? becuase it disapointing to get out on a Intermediate trip and someone has none of the gear.

Dang it I just saw you made a flag pole mandatory

Some of us can fit those on our cars easaly

Maybe I can have my wife hold it out the window

Yes Morpheus it is, with driving in and out of the dunes sometimes you lose site of the car in front but you will see the flag it really is for safety reasons

flag poles, i am not a lover of them but do agree with what they say, easy to find the cars in front, and know when it is safe to move

all is clear and understandable, but

one question:
*Upgrade contribution: intermediate AED 100.00*
*Upgrade contribution: advanced AED 200.00*
*Upgrade contribution: explorer AED 400.00*

so is this now how contribution works? if i choose to stay at advanced, for say 2 years do i pay the same amount each year, or is it just a once off and i dont pay contribution again until i ungrade,?

You share this with my wife

But we hopefully all agree that it is highly recommended and a real safety plus, especially in Intermediate and higher trips with all the cresting involved.

Especially the website is costly and needs to be paid every year, other expenses as well. Personally Katharina & me contribute every season because we want the Club to be there the next season also. In the list above it is given as an Upgrade requirement to contribute for the upgrade, it does not say it is an annual fee. Hope this answers it.
