SAFETY FLASH - SMOKING WHILE DRIVING

Dear Members, err....cigarette smoking Members, I must say.

Please be aware, when driving in convoys, once u finish your cig, please do not throw it out, because there is a possibility that the burning butt might land on the lap of one of the Open Jeepers behind you, with possibly disastrous results. Please note that Not all members follow the rule of leaving required safety gap with the front car.

Besides, the UAE has introduced a tough draft law on smoking.

The draft law includes a ban on smoking in a private car while a child aged below 12 is on board.

Excellent news for the kids in one way, no second hand smoke, on the other hand, a dad driving in Dubai traffic with no cigarrete is very bad news for anybody in the car
