AD4x4 @ Adrenaline Sports Live and Barbican Turbo Festival

Dear Members,

We are glad to announce that AD4x4 will participate in the Adrenaline Sports Live and Barbican Turbo Festival 2009 (8 - 10 October 2009, Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre)
We would like to invite all our dear members to visit our stand there and we are also giving an opportunity for our members with modified cars to display them under our clubs name during the three days of the exhibition.
How to apply:
Sign up with your name and number and upload a clear picture of your car. Once approved, it will be added to the list below.

Terms and conditions:
1- You have to attend all three days of the exhibition
2- Your car has to be somewhat modified to qualify (updated)
3- You will need to print a list with all modification to be attached to your car

our cars will be devided in to two groups.

group (a) will participate in the Top 100 Modified cars of UAE contest. the winner will get a full expense paid trip to switzerland hat will include a number of activities. if you think your car has a chance please PM me the list of all the modifications and a picture of your car before the end 18th of Sep. please note that there will be a screening by the organisers therefore your car has to be pre-approved before participating. also note that the car will be parked inside the exhibition hall for 4 days and you will not be able to collect it until the end of the competition. The max number of cars from ad4x4 is 10 cars


group (b) will be outdoors at the VIP participants display area with all the other clubs (lumina club, porsche club, etc..) you will be free to park your car in there and leave at any time you like. i will post meeting times in the next few days.


please remember The closing date to enroll your car in any of the groups is 18th of September. please hurry.

Excellent initiative guys, I look forward to assisting in the promotion of the club wherever I can.
Unfortunately my run-around is not modded enough for the exhibit, but input into the stand layout could be provided if required.

Every weekend we have hundreds of pics taken whether they be action shots of the cars doing funky things or people socialising and having a great time.
Why not capitalise on that and have a LCD screen or 2 with a series of pics on a loop or even better maybe some short movie clips that have been taken.
Maybe, if a wireless internet connection is available, enable people to be signed up there and then.

Just a couple of thoughts.

I know that space in the event will be of a premium, but putting only highly modded cars on the floor will definitely attract attention, but who are aiming to plug the group to?? Young boy racers, responsible adults, families????? Putting only highly modded trucks on display will give the impression that only those trucks can do our trips, I strongly believe that a sparcely modded truck or two will also add to the overall texture of the group.

i totally agree , however the point of the exhibition is to attract modified car enthusiasts. we as a club are participating with that theme to profit from the exposure. the basic requirement for display are set by the exhibition organisers and not the club management.
