Club fund contribution

Dear members,

AD4x4 is a non profit organization. It depends on members contributions abd money made from special events to cover it's expenses. the expenses includes the rental of the server and administration cost.

Currently the club fund is running on deficit of AED 18000 and we need to raise some funds to be able to cover the upcoming costs and keep the club running.

For this, we are requesting all the members to hand over their contributions to the trip marshal on their next trip. Min contribution required is AED 300 per member. The contribution should be in an envelope with the member's nick name clearly written on the envelope so we can keep our records on who contributed.

I am sorry to tell you that members will not be allowed to join trips unless their contribution is paid ... so do not forget to bring money with you on your next trip.

Of course I am (and probably all other members are) very thankful for the fun and the knowledge and the friendships we gain here !

This is the way it always should have been - otherwise it's unfair to us members who have paid willingly and on time.

Can I suggest that it may be easier to track this if members are given an annual membership card, an email to remind them when their subscription is due, and of course a receipt when they pay it?

Having to run an NFP organisation in my previous life, I could understand where are you coming from, Iguana. Frankly, I'll be contributing it for the good cause during my next trip later. My question is, will this contribution be on top of the contribution for an upgrade? I've recently been upgraded, does it mean that I must pay AED 300 (min) plus the upgrading fee? Advise please, thanks.

Fauzi, we are trying to make it easy, and we don't want to push our members too much for money .. the AED 300 will be enough for everything, if you want to pay more, you are most welcome

You can do it through Pay pall .. check in the bottom of the website, you will find the paypal option, but I prefer to do it during the trips so we don't get mixed
