Update - I dont like exhausts any more
This is the most troubled project I've ever seen (any one will ever see). Every thing that could go wrong just went wrong and I mean it.
I choose Patriot Performance Workshop in musaffah because they are in AUH (distance is important in case of any urgent work required), quality of their finished projects, they have worked with too many TLCs and Bedrolls, some friends recommendation and because they did Black Evil & Cool Attitude cars.
However I'm fed up with this project and to be honest and in spite of all the delay I still don’t regret choosing this workshop.
Down payment was done in November ' 2007
Approximate cost: 65,000Dhs.
End Date: Unknown
At the beginning I changed my plan and decided to swap my Auto transmission TLC with a Manual Transmission one. Because, an Auto transmission will not tolerate the excessive power generated by the turbo (Between 500 & 550 HP ) and this took some time.
This part of the story is over and the exchange was done.
The real tragedy started after that
Waiting for the parts to come from USA (Turbo, Blow off valve, Waste gate, Intercooler, and exhaust manifold)
Then, some parts arrived and some were missing.... And due to the New Year and Christmas the parts were further delayed (exhaust manifold). So we decided not to wait any further (it took more than one month) and to get a custom made on here in Abu Dhabi.
After that the job started with the engine internal parts (changing the pistons and overhauling job) and at this time I had to buy a Heavy duty Clutch (I did, I got OS triple plate Heavy duty Clutch) and engine Oil Cooler (this one was delayed as well) from INTRACO (SHARJAH) in order to install them as long as the engine and the transmission were removed.
And after waiting (weeks), the exhaust manifold was received finally.
And YES, It didn’t fit into place. Therefore, the mechanic returned it back to be replaced.
After more than a week it was received and installed along with the turbo, Intercooler, BOV, waste gate, oil cooler , fuel regulator , fuel pump , custom turbo piping , and some other parts
After that I decided that I may need some extra BOOST. Therefore, I asked them to install a MoTeC M600 (ECU) which took 10 days to arrive.
Meanwhile, the car was sent for pipes chroming and fabricating a custom Exhaust.
And this was a real mess …
At the beginning the car was kept out side the workshop (another work shop that I don’t know its name) however the promise was to finalize it in 3 to 4 days.
Actually, it was kept untouched for more than a week.
After contacting them they said that they are sorry and the job will start as soon as possible.
And this was another setback in the project …. They discovered that they ran out of mufflers (the type we asked for) and that it will take them one week to get (It took ages) but, finally the mufflers arrived.
This is not the end of it YET
After receiving the mufflers they discovered that they ran out of 3'' pipes
And now I have to wait for 2 days till they receive it from their supplier (which I doubt).
They are supposed to receive the pipes today and hand over the car back to the workshop tomorrow (Wednesday 27/02/2008) hopefully.
After that the remaining job will be wiring and installation of the new ECU (+Programming), Boost gauge, Fuel pressure gauge, Boost controller and turbo timer.
So Hopefully, The car will be ready on 05/03/2008 (my next week end) and this chapter will be closed.

Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.

the same thing in some how happened to my brother , but if u need the best prograaming for unichip incase you are still concerning
unichip in your car go to bin majed in dubai he is the best and believe me my bro , he does the work right with no delays once he
says 2 days it is 2 days , another piont bro my advice if you are going to 1 bar do not install the triple layer cluch because you will
face problems in shifting the gear espcially when you areenganging the 4wd go for cluch (bo naflah) if you herd about it or for double
layer . my bro used to have the triple layer man in offroad you have no time to shift man espcially when engaging the LO gear . but
now after changing his engine to VTEC TURBO with original cluch it is ok but till boost 7 after the one bas you need a cluch ...
best of luck man

Bad luck ... 2nd strike
As I said earlier ..... this project seems endless
Is it :makingfun: BAD LUCK
Up date
Went on last Thuresday with a big Smile hopping that the Frankenstein Mad Cow will be ready.
After starting the car they discovered that they forgot to install one piston
No way ..... that is not true
Actually, after starting the car a large cloud of smoke came out from the exhaust 8O
Therfore, they delaied the programming till they find out the source of the problem.
And guess what ..... The brand new TURBO was leaken Oil (manufacturing defect) ... So, the plan is as follows: they will send this one back to USA .... they will instal a used turbo fo testing and it will remain till they receive the new one and hopfully before 2018
:yuck: Im fedup with this turbo project
:sucks:

ONCE MORE
Programming .....
Last week end the MoTeC was installed and programming started but it seems that the injectors that was ordered cannot go beyound 13 Psi of boost.
Solution :
New injectors were ordered and hopfully today it will be ready ( fingers crossed ).

Finaly
Finaly my MAD COW project is over ( almost )
Got it programmed and the dyno result is
570 BHP at 22 psi of boost ( just for programming .... I'll not use it with this sitting , for now at least )
482 BHP at 15 psi of boost
412 BHP at 10 psi of boost
I'll scan the dyno sheet and post it later on
