Appreciate, thanks

Do you think this model V8 LC is available in UAE with a manual gear!?
because automatic is a big problem for me.

Do you know anything else wich can be with manual gear?

Well, I have A TLC which will be Turbo Charged Soon but , Have a look on my Signature

Toyotas in general are very relaiable cars with a good resale value.

As you know with every new model intreduced .... there are new PROBLEMS

LC is grate car for Newbie trips and if pushed hard it may survaive an intermediate trip.
but , for the ADVANCED level where you will be going over the dunes rather than around them   ..... I will not say "There is only one" or "Only in a JEEP" or any thing like that and inorder to be fare ........ you will need a short wheel base to do that (without distroing your car)

I'm interested to see how tuff is the V8 TLC and to know how will it look like after loosing the front and rear Bumpers (KIDDING  )

It depends on your personal choice . After all its your car :D
Further more, you have to know how far you will be pushing it and what do you need it for.

If its mainly for OFF Roading and you are interested only in TOYOTA
I would say go for an FJ or Prado
, If you care about Road driving then go for the TLC

If you dont care about on Road driving and you are looking for a second car then you have to do it right from the first time
Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.

As Wildfire says ... The LC will never live an advanced trip without breaking the bumpers ... I know you will say like everybody else " I am not into extreme drives" But wait after 10 trips and you will say 'I want to change this cow .. I want a Jeep to play with the bad boys" .. If you are willing to invest over AED 200K in a car better buy a Prado and a Wrangler for the same cost of one LC and you will enjoy it more than anything

Fine, thanks for advices.
I need a car to travel. I'am driving to Oman a lot. And I am looking for safety also on uae roads. I'am not on sand that much.
Great, i really enjoy Prado caus I've been driving it before( not in uae) , but it was a manual gear, and here it's difficult to find.
FJ not available in manual as well. at all.

Well do you know any other model can suits me in my needs?

May I ask why do you insist on manual gear.

I found (a year back) FJ with manual gear 0 klm in the used cars showrooms (imported). Why not the nissan SWB, but not recomonding a new one since as per the roamers this modle might be changed next year.

no most of the new fuel stations or maybe all of them have diesel ...

so if i was in your place i'd forget about the LC ... for the road and seroius offroading go for the Nissan Patrol ... LWB or SWB both come with a manual trans and both are great in the desert, its not like the LC on road but its a better offroader ...

here an almost new LWB, manual patrol for sale thats if you want a used car ... but the price i guess is fair .. anyways check it out heres the link:

i just noticed that you only want a Toyota .. sorry ... but you might change your mind
