We are now trying to get special rates for AD4x4 members in hotels and clubs and other facilities in UAE and Oman so your membership in AD4x4 be more useful.

These days I am negotiating a discounted membership for some clubs in Abu Dhabi. I managed the following offer:

Iguana, can you tell us the exact location so we can go a look at it first, maybe i will join, the thing i am known of paying yearly membership and do not go

You can say i am anti excersing group

I mean i do not like to excersize

but lets see this club and does have a beach like Meridian or other hotels?

Mac, yes it is 4000 for a couple and 4 children (less than 16 years) for a full year membership

- The Marina club is inside the new housing complex behind Marina Mall
- The Sands Hotel is in Electra Street
- The Eve Fitness center is behind ADCB (Don't know which one

)

The membership is for the 3 places together ... I got it through LIG Group. Original price is AED 5000 for a family. Our price is AED 4000

Jax ... I think the Marina club will be child friendly, I am looking for something where my kids can get some swimming lessons and enjoy their Saturdays (Fridays are for offroading) .. I will go tomorrow or after and have a look at the place and give you my feed back

If we manage to get more than 10 memberships, we can negotiate the price more .. so tell your friends and collegues .. We can add them to AD4x4 deal as well .. More families means more discount

Iguana, have sent you a PM re the Marina Royal Club and prices.
For others info, we have just visited the place. It is amongst the new Villas at the side/rear of Marina Mall. The club overlooks the Sea.
There is NO beach, the gym facilities are very good, there are Yoga and Aerobic classes ( 25dhs) per session ) Swimming lessons for juniors cost 300dhs for 10x1 hour sessions.
It is a very exclusive type club with a very small and shallow childrens pool. The main pool is no where near as good as the pool at Abu Dhabi Health & Fitness club for actual swimming purposes, but I think this is due to the exclusive nature/high end market of the club, if you own one of the new villas you get free membership!!
If the price is right we would join though as it is very peaceful over there, ( At the moment)

I also visited the Marina club today .. It is lovely .. Very nice swimming pool for adults with attached swimming pool for kids, Pool and snooker table, squash, tennis, spa, nice sitting area dn the place is empty and looks very clean and nice ... Original family membershup is AED 10,000 so we got a great offer .. come on guys .. lets do it where are the other members????
