i agree with Xof and the rest who suggested 2 carsJasonsne wrote:Guys,
currently have a 2003 liberty sport, with manual gerbox. I have had it for about 6 months now and had it on the sand a few times which it handles well. However I also have a commute from Abu Dhabi to Dubai everyday, which I can say it doesnt deal with so well.
I am thinking of chopping it in for an FJ, has anyone got any experience on the sand with this and how do you think it will handle the commute??

Walla I didnt face such a thing even on extreme trips and night trips, maybe cause I got used to it that I dont feel it anymore.Nasser wrote:Nabs,Nabs wrote:am I the only one who doesnt have visibility issues with the FJ?

what you say is OK, but I would replace Pathfinder by Xterra, as
- it is cheaper,
- the bumpers are more suitable for off-road as they are not painted,
- the stock version is already a bit lifted using Bilstein shocks,
- there are more and easier after-market parts for modding available.
but this is only me thinking
