Guys by end of this thread I will collect all the ideas Review, discuss and plans for the trips. Sound Good so far.

Jo that is a great idea but it should be open to all level during travelling to Oman and then select.

As complete 'pond-life' newbie, can I just say that I did a through the Wahiba 3 day trip driving (yes actually driving) as Nissan Safari Patrol in 1997 with a group of 8 or 9 other cars,... I survived and so did my boss's patrol ( 8O ) which he very kindly let me have for the trip, and there were some very very good marshalls ... actually thats where Pink Panther and I drove together for the first time before we were married.... depending on the route, its OK for lesser beings to do... we did some HUGE dunes, and there were no mishaps... its MAGIC -

How about a trip from Liwa to Al Ain

In Oman crossing Jabal al Akhbar (Nizwa to Ar Rustaq), maybe with camping in Balad Seed.

Can we have an "Event Calender" at the end showing the dates for our planning. I won't miss a trip because of other commitments or even worse because of work

The eid trip will give a rough idea to do the wahiba sands and subsequent to Turtles beach and then Salalah.
