What should i get next?

Post by MegaMoe »

I know its a hard question, but that i've sold my precious wrangler Scorpion, i know there will be no car that would match its perfermence offroad, still i wanted something near the weight to power ratio. so i ended up with the list of trucks i'll be looking at once i return home, and wanted to check your opinion guys. ofcourse its all the SWB.

- GMC Jimmy or Yukon (92 to 2000)
- Chevrolet Blazer. (92 - 2000)
- Jeep Cherokee (92 - 2000)
- Jeep Grand Cherokee (92 - 2000)

ofcourse all of them will have at least 2" lift and bigger meaner tyres so imagine them with that look at with the look of the silly onroad ones.

vote and tell me why.

Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.

I think it will be a good choice since he tried the roll over before doc. :D:

Mega, Go for Cherokee 2000-2001, trust me you will not regret it.

It drives super great in desert, and you have room for things and people, it is more comfortable than wrangler, so i think it is all what you need.

I had a 2000 model Blazer and in it's unmodified state managed to put it through most of the desert terrain I could throw at it including Liwa ect. The 4.3 V6 engine has plenty of power and torque, 4 Hi 1st made mincemeat of Big Red it just lacked on approach angle and ground clearance on some of the more extreme trips.

In my opinion a 2 door 2000 model ZR2 Blazer with mods would kick ***!

A 2" lift plus 32" BFG AT's (or tyre of own choice) and a bit of a front end bash plate should do it.

These mods on a SWB Yukon/Tahoe scaled up accordingly would also make a comfortable offroader in my opinion.
