Hi everyone!

My Name is Lutz and I just joined AD4x4. I am actually here in Dubai since 3.5 years and did some desert trips during that time. Originally I'm from Germany, 31 years old and for now with a Wrangler JK 08 on and also off the road.

I'm actually looking for nice trips and hours out there, adventures as well as to meet new, nice and interesting People from UAE.

Hi! My name is Joseph and just joined your group and reading through the forums and I have found it to be very helpful. I just bought a 4x4 and hope I could learn using it in your club. Been in the UAE for about 11 years and mostly driving on road. I use my car to drop and pick-up my kids during the week and hopefully enjoy the weekend in the desert.

Is there any ANIT trip in the next few weeks that I can join?

You will be delighted to see that Yehia had announced an ANIT for this coming Friday afternoon, which is catered for your first taste of the desert, the club and safety.

Hi Everyone. My name is Jim and just joined ad4x4. I am from India and working at AUH.Have some experience driving in the desert since I work at the Oil Field. I own a Merc ML400. Not sure if its suitable for Dune Bashing and never tried, but seriously considering to buy an LC or JEEP.
Interested to meet you all and start my maiden trip with you guys.

Hi guys

I'm Josh, I've been around the UAE for 6 years but never driven a 4x4 on the sand. When I moved here the temptation of a 6litre muscle car was too much however I've finally decided that whilst I'm Living here I should be exploring more so I've now got an FJ cruiser.

I'd love to come along and learn from you guys and hope to become a regular member of the community.

Pluse somewhere i read that we have to introduce ourselves but again I cannot see where we have to do that.. One more thing : i use to drive my car on and off road but I cannot see where is the group gathering is launched or what time.. Sorry for the long talk .. Just want to say Hi

For joining the trips you need to check forms - Newbie trips.

Hi Wrd_jorry. Welcome to the club.
The website can be a bit of maze. Start here ( http://www.ad4x4.com/club/viewforum.php?f=24) and when you have time, read through the posts with the exclamation mark next to it....

The best would however be to join a ANIT/Newbie trip where we will introduce you to AD4x4 and it will form the foundation for your future involvement in our trips and activities.

Hi Everyone,

I just signed up after having an amazing interaction with 2 of your Marshals. Last weekend, I was around the Al Qudra Lakes with my family when my 4x4 got stuck in the sand. Mr Barakat & another gentleman from the club came to our rescue and pulled us out. Not only were they skillful, they were extremely friendly. They encouraged me to join the club if I wanted to improve my off-road skills...so here I am.

I live in Dubai, have been here for 18 years, and do not consider myself an outdoors person

But this year, I have decided to make better use of my wife's Nissan Patrol and explore the desert. Which other part of the world do we get this opportunity, right?

I look forward to meeting some of you during a drive.
