Our camping season is approaching, and for those who are not familiar with our camping activities, let me tell you that we will start action just after EID and we will not stop until next summer ISA.
Last year we had a lot of succesful camping trips under the lead of AD 4x4 Marshal & Mountaneer MPenzi, these trip were attended by many club members who almost didn't miss any camping trip:

9/10 Feb. 2007 - Overnight in Mountains
23/24 Feb. 2007 - Stairways to Heaven - Khour Kalba
23/24 March 2007 - Mountains - Dibba
12/13/14 April 2007 - Khasab & Dolphin Watching
And that was the end of our camping season for 2006/2007 and part of what you missed last year. As for 2007/2008 season and as discussed with MPenzi, the following trips will take place ISA with the dates to be announced very shortly:
Wadi Chess and camping at Khor Kalba
Wadi Khames and Hata Pools - this could be day drive
Wadi Mbarak trial Runs and Camping at Khor kalba beach
Wadi Ghail and camping at Dibba beach
Wadi Ghail and camping at Ziggi Beach
Wadi Kitna and camping at Wadi at wadi Sumayni
Long trips to Oman include
Wadi Damm
Ras al Hadd and Turtle beach

Diver Thank you for that wonder full narrative and pictures and Again would like to thank you for your assistance last year trips.
Again would like to have your assistance again this year ISA for organisiting these trips.
By the way we are planning to have a telescope so that we can watch the stars at night during these trips to make it more entartain for little ones and grown up as well.

Dear Freespirit,
I have been into several wadi/mountain trips and I know myself well enough and I can't see myself driving there anymore. I personally don't consider such trips as offroading. At the end of the day this is just MY personal preference and the club is general 4x4 club covering all available terrains in the UAE and has to meet the expectations of all our valuable members, that's why we have marshals to cater to various types of trips.
I am glad that everybody is enjoying the wadi/mountain trips as much as other members enjoy dune bashing. Diver is one exception marshal who enjoys both types of trips.

As u said Chief, i had the pleasure & fun of enjoying both, offroading & camping. Other members who only show-up during the camping season should try one of our newbie trips, and then give us their opinion

AD4X4 first Camping trip was marshaled by Defender and it was an awsome trip that ended by a camping by the seaside. Hope we can repeat the exact same trip this year 8) 8)
