Upgrade Requests & Logbooks Procedure (Reminder to All)

Hello All,

Recently I am receiving requests from members for initiating/making their upgrades.

Please note that, Last marshal signsoff the logbook (trip/equipment's) shall be responsible for requesting upgrade by taking snapshot of book and follow the procedure of upgrade.

Upgrade Procedure:
a. Marshal propose the upgrade to other marshals/management on a special upgrade request forum.
b. Upgrade request stays for 3 days (moderation queue) for discussion and recommendations of improvement (if any).
c. During moderation queue the upgrade can be kept on hold for improvement of member skills in case 6 marshals says NO.
d. after all above, upgrade is usually announced by requested marshal.


Reminder to all:
- While Marshals will try to ensure logbooks get signed, it is ultimately the MEMBERS RESPONSIBILITY to bring their logbooks to the Leading Marshals at the end of each trip for any signoffs according to club policy as declared in the logbook and website.
