BF goodrich all terrian OR kumo

its time to change my tyres since they are too big for my car and broke two diffrential so far

but they are thebest

what shall we do .....

ok i was just in national tyre shop in mussfah
and i was asking him abut the BF/GOODRICH all terrian ...and i also saw th kumo .....
i was confused between them
so decided to go to you guys to advice me

ok here is the question which one is netter on offroading , and what size is suitable for my patrol , is it 285/../...
or 275/.../..... i dunno iam very poor in this area
price wise they kumo is 2300AED 4 tires
GOODRICH 2500AED 4 tires
not that bg diffrence

Or i go with mud terrian

so please help me

Inorder to answer your question you need some one who traied both

I have the Kumho, they are ok for off roading but, very noisy on the road.

As Ahmed mentioned they are among the best for offroading ( you will feel the difference) but noisy on road and require some effort to control the brakes on high speed.

I agree with Diver and they realy make a diff off road. PS-if you get Kumhos, get a good sound system to overcome the road noise!

I have owned many, many sets of BFG all terrains, and as an all round tyre they cannot be beat. They have a three ply side wall which makes them less susceptible to side wall punctures - especially when running at low pressures.

For the Patrol I recommend 285/75/16 - G-Man is running this same tyre.

I had the BFG allterrain and later had the BFG Macadams, also saw the Kumho on Megamoes x-wrangler, Diver and a couple more.....

My personal choice will allways be BFG

I'm planning to get the 285/75/16 BFG , but some body to answer Adiga's question please , Al Magboul helped out with the size but do we really need the 2' lift to have them on smoothly

I would go along the same route as Geoff suggested, the BFGoodrich AT is a fantastic tyre both on and off road. Not too noisy on road and lasts forever in my experience...

it seems clear now

ghanem yeah you should lift you car , there is no problem with them them lifting ... because i have the baja and they barely rub when you completly turn the steering ,, butr with these they will not rub .

Kalemero, 285s should fit fine on your car... It has a lift kit on it. Whats the size of your wheels? 15 or 16 and what width are they, 8.5?

I'm very happy with my BFGs AT KO.

With the 285s, you'll get more articulation from your suspension.

whatever tires you buy keep your receipt and all the stickers from the tires. Just in case there is a recall.

ok i have tried different tires.

BF goodrich are very good in the street but really bad in the sand.

the kumho are noisy in the street but good in the sand (although they are heavy)

Now i'm using the BF goodrich a/t and i want to sell them and buy me a real tire , hmmmmm might get the cooper.
i would love to get the BF goodrich M/T its amazing but not available here.
