We are pleased to announce that the Abu Dhabi 4x4 club grading system has been finalized (Thanks to Khaiwi & Adiga) and approved on today's club management meeting. Reminder and clarification about members upgrade

Post by MegaMoe »

Dear members,

I have been receiving several enquiries from members on eligibility for upgrading their ranks based on the frequency of participation in club trips. I am therefore clarifying herewith some of the club rules in this respect :

1- The grading system was done for your own safety and for your own enjoyment of trips. In order to asses ur driving skills (for pros and for newbies) we need to at least see you in 2 drives. those drives should be newbie drives for intermediate, or intermediate for advanced.

2- Also It takes 2 marshals to asses the driving skills. not just 1. unless in few exceptions where the driver is already preapproved due to his experiece prior joining the club.

3- If points 1 and 2 are fullfilled the member will be upgraded. sometimes it takes the member more than 3 trips to become an intermediate drvier. when we say 3 we mean at least 3, not at max 3.

4- Camping and other events do not count as trips due to the very easy driving nature of it.

5- Management titles and VIPs are given by the 2 Founders as token of appreciation for helping the club.

5- For more information please check the grading system.
