Volkswagen Touareg V10 5.0l Diesel 2004-2006 in Germany
Strongest engine ever I had in a 4x4 (313 HP, 780Nm torque).
I am afraid, however that the chassis would be too weak for the desert and the shiftgear will not stand the high torque too long.....
Besides that a really great one.
Was a nice car to drive in the snow of the Alpine mountains.

Toyota FJ cruiser 2008 here now.
Seems to be a great one for the desert. Unfortunately had only two desert rides yet in this one.

- Landrover Freelander 2001, 2 door - Qatar, broke the car learning in sand - very expensive to maintain.
- Nissan Pathfinder 2002- Qatar, stucks like hell very powerfull though.
- Nissan Patrol 2005 (King of the desert), great fun - cheep maintenance - NEVER BREAKS - Did craizy jumps without harm.
- Toyota Prado 2005, 2 door - UAE, just tryed it for first time yesterday, does well better than expected, doesnt give confidence on side slopes.

Now looking for a PATROL.
JKU 2015
JK 2009
Prado SWB 2007
Nissan Patrol LWB 2005
Land rover 2002
All filled with sand since 2002.

I dont know why  but , I like this car as well

I think that it has the potential for an off roading car
4.0 engine (they claim that it develops around 280 HP)
It has a a farly short wheel base (compared to other 4 doors full size SUV)
Good approch and departure angle

with these spec ..... I think that they are making the New NISSAN XJ copy:roll:

what i dont like about it is that it is still abit thin
Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.
