I,m staying out of this one as I loved my Jeep as a desert plaything, but like Moe I like the whole package of the H3, especially as we go to the mountains a lot as well.

Moe dude, that was just a cheap video...How many hundreds of jeep climbed those hills and explored places...when 1 fails due to operators fault you video it and say Jeep this and jeep that, and when 1 Hummer makes it (due to trained drivers use) you take a video and say Hummer is like nothing else.
We all know that hummers are built for some specific places..H1 for extreme driving since a military oriented vehicle and the H2 is a city car started in production line with a Tahoe engine . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSMTRxIknpw I would say that it has a weak suspension and does but this was also an operator's fault since he is NOT a trained commercial driver 8) ...The H3 was built to be a small H1 I do like it but it needs a bigger engine..plus when you buy it the give you many numbers 60% upward climbing...etc and they put a foot note ALL MAY ALTER With MODS. and TIRE size...so in some way they want to make it an easy to modify to attract some of the jeepers who like to have fun with their cars..and if you really searched in youtube you'll find that many did make it in Moab with Jeeps and few made it up with Hummers so forget the number of flips and look for the percentages..Cheers.

AND YES I'M JEEPER..!

Hi guys,

Couldn't resist - try a stock Wrangler against a stock H3 off-road... that is, sand, rock and a mixture of both - you will then have an answer to this debate.

Wrangler needs modified to follow an H3.!

Annnnd, before anyone says anything, yes I leveled the front end on mine and fitted different shocks - why? - simply to make it a little different from the rest of the H3 "clones" on the roads here.... stock, it rocks!!

Like Nothing Else - HUMMER all the way

And, try have a look at the following link:
http://jalopnik.com/342457/detroit-auto ... ly-fragged

Yep - another is on the way!!!!

Stay safe guys - hope to be down your way in the next few months - and we'll be tossing you a new member - "Sandhog" on our site!

Cheers
JFF
