I am posting this again as a reminder to all.


Welcome all, especially our new members who may not have met me yet.

I have the grand title of Training & Development Manager

I see my role as identifying existing members with ANY skills that we can use within the club to the benefit of all and to liaise with outside bodies for the more professional assistance.

As of today we are 1050 members, now there must be some of you out there who have specialised skills that we can tap into, whether it be IT, Mechanical, GPS, First Aid, etc etc etc.

So if you have anything to offer us a club please PM me and I will arrange and co-ordinate the requisite training/input.

Anything else you can help with please PM me.

Fellow members, if you have an idea, have connections that could help involve the club with your company or as Mac said you have a skill which you could help pass on to other club members then this is an ideal opportunity.

Thank You to everyone who has PM me with skills they can offer. We seem to have enough medical staff to open our own Hospital, which is good to know on trips.

I have suggested on my PM replies that the First Aiders get together and work on a training session/s plan.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

By the way if anyone does have good First Aid skills and you are on a trip can you make this known to the Trip Organiser. It may come in useful.
