Jeep theory!!

Post by sherif78 »

I wonder why?
How many ads here and there people and not ordinary drivers, but keen on sand adventures selling their Wranglers?
Everybody is recommending Wrangler for everybody? on the other hand they are getting rid of it? need to understand before the axe halfs the head.

U have to make up your mind whether u will use your Pajero for family and offroad or family on road.
Suppose u want to use it for both, then follow Rolf's advice.
Otherwise, get yourself a Wrangler and u will have loads and loads of fun on the sand

Ok let me try to be a little serious for once :-)
I guess it is part of the human nature that we need some changes. After a few years you have been driving your Jeep which has been modified to the point that you are more or less happy with the looks and the performance - then what?
For many people driving is probably not the whole thrill 8)
Searching the Internet for possible mods, reading forums and try to get the optimal combination of parts to fit yourself.
When this as accomplished or not fun anymore they might want to start a new project. For some people the project is more important and interesting than the result
It might also be so simple that you get other interests in life or getting older and wiser. It might also be so that your dear MOI is fed up up with all this and force you to stop :?
NOONE can say that Wrangler is a comfortable car driving to and from the desert and as pointed out many times in this forum - If you need one car and it will also be your daily transport - Dont buy the Wrangler (especially not the TJ). It is purely a weekend toy.

Please avoid any comments saying "FJ is much better than TJ" as it is not about that. We all have different requirements and we all have a free will to buy whatever car we like.

If you do go for a TJ, make sure u keep money aside each month for a chiropractor, physiotherapist and massages.

Its a Jeep thing u, nor I, nor any of the sane population of this great world we live in would understand!!!! :D :D
