We are a group of South Africans keen on a few weeks off-road adventure in UAE / Oman.
Are there any reputable 4x4 (self-drive) hire companies.
Preferably vehicles kitted out for camping?

unfortunately you will not find this kind of service in UAE. But if you give some more details about the nature of your trip, we might be able to find some vehicle (Landcruiser or FJ cruisers) for a decent price. The camping stuff (tent, bbq, sleeping bag, chairs, tables aso) is available on the market. It all depends on your budget.
Important is also the period when you want to come...
