Looking for GPSMAPS 276C

After reading Iguana's 276C gospel on the forum , I am convinced and am looking for one.

Anybody got an idea, from where I can source a new unit or a used one @ reasonable price?

Cant remember his name but the last shop past the fishmarket right down on the right on the curve of the bend at the Mina..he had then for over 3000AED a couple of weeks ago.

Carrefour have not had them as they are discontinued.

Bum...cant remember the chaps name at the port but he definitely had them but they were very expensive.

Others have different Garmins...do you really want a 276C?

Meena shop is Amit if i'm not mistaken
he had them for somewhere around 4000 before discount as i have been told

any way i got mine from my home countery like 3 weeks before at bout 3250
no memory card no maps
if you like i can check if they still have one
the thing is we need someone coming,
this can be arranged if you can wait

look on souq.com a friend got one of there recently very goood price...worth a look otherwise amit as stated....
if you dont get maps or card etc will be about 3200?

Amit will sell it for you after negotiations and with memory card as you need this, around 3200-3400, remember to buy car charger as well, no need for the one with voice as not used offroad
Don't buy the maps, call me and will give you other solution (not to be discussed on this forum)

Only go for this unit if you know you'll get addicted to offroading, if not much, there are cheaper substitutes

Thanks to everybody for the quick replies. I just got lucky finding one not too old on ebay for 1.650, which even after adding the mail forwarding cost seems now a good price.

Curious thing that the device is discontinued but still so expensive...

1,650 USD is not really a good price considering you can buy new from Amit for 3,000 AED after discount. Add 400 for the largest memory card (in case you want to store road maps) plus the warranty, and you would save some money.

They are expensive, even second handed, yes...even more expensive then new
