Heavy Dute clutch for TJ ??

Hi Guys !

My throw out bearing have gone busted.

So, I,m replacing it along with the whole clutch.

Does any one knows where can I get a heavy duty clutch for TJ in Abu Dhabi ??

I just came from Mussafah, I went to the used parts area and came back empty handded. I also tried ARB with no luck.

Any place in Dubai Maybe ??

Hi Ossama,

It was too bad to see you leave this morning due to your clutch problem.

I have installed a "Center Force dual friction" performance clutch and I m happy with it so far.

Here in Dubai, I got it from "Robbies" so I m sure there will be someone selling those out there in AD.

I visited thier shop this morning. The Shop Sign is a desaster !! You cannot tell that this is an AEV shop!!

Anyway, they only have clutches for JKs. Nothing for my old rustbucket..

I will visit Robbie's on Monday if I failed to get any thing from Abu Dhabi..

Call Icon auto in dubai (or other stores) and see what they have...you have already covered all Abu Dhabi stores.

or, order online with expedited shipping. it will cost you though

No body seems to have them on stock. Since I'm going in vication, I'm going to order the clutch from Ramy and wait for 22 days.

hello ossmee befoe you oeder your clutch read this please..

i installed the center force dual friction 2 on my tj and i can tell you its amazing BUT it will kill your transmission it will transfer all the load to the transmissin so i highly recomend you instal the following, cherokee clutch with pressure plate and i assure you that you will be very happy it will last you at least 50,000kms off-road maximum 70,000kms depending on your driving, this case happend with a couple of my friends and we all suffered after installing the aftermarket clutches the tj transmissions are weak already so just stay on the cheroke clutch and give your transmission a longer life

Well, I asked one of my friends to look for it in Sharjah and Dubai.

Since, I'm outside the country, I didn't find the time to call him and check.

what mode TJ you have/had? as I understand it, 1997-1999 models had the weakest Transmissions among TJ models.
