GoPro Batteries and Charger

To all the GoPro users

I have been using my new toy for a couple of hours and discovered that I will never manage to record a full trip without having a few batteries and charger on standby. I am therefore looking at getting a back-up in place.
I found the following from Amazon and will have it Shop and Shipped here.
It can be used in the car as well and can charge two batteries at a time.
Two batteries are included.

Hero3 Compatible Version

Cost is roughly $37 + $5 (Amazon Shipping) + shop and ship (AED40 per unit) = Approx AED200

Hero2 Compatible Version

Hi Thom, which gopro are you using.

I have a charger for the GOPRO BLK3 which i bought from beyond the beach al wahda mall. It can charge 2 gopro3blk batteries at the same time, from a usb charger. made by SP. it cost like AED200.

Also for the car i bought a PROmate adaptor whcih has 2 USB and 2 12v ports in it, so great for charging GPS & phone and other bits at the same time.

Hi Andy

I'm using the 3. Beyond the beach didn't have any chargers.

This deal includes 2 batteries and dual 12v/240v charger. This version has the USB charger as well for charging the phone, iPad, etc. Check out the link.

I'm using Wassabi with BLK3+ and its working fine. As well if you consider to fix the camera inside the car there is a housing with an opened slot of USB cable which you can plug your usb directly to a power bank or to a usb power outlet in the car and keep capturing for the full day.
