Hi Moe !
I saw one advertised in Abela's Supermarket -- also can check out Spinney's
1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7 Litre with 94 k Km's
Asking price was Dhs 26,500/-
I did'nt get his contact number but you can swing by and check it out. If i get a chance i will also try to get the number.

5.7 Litre ?
The 99 ( WJ ) was only available with 4.7 Litre. Or, if it is an 98 ( ZJ ) it could be an LX 5.9 Litre 8O 8O
Moe, if it is an 5.9 take it. That engine is a Monster !!!

MOE u can check in airport road the second parking
there is a shop who sells jeeps al l imported from US
but i dunnoi about the prices
but you know airport road they are theives hehehe

on a serious note-
its good to get a jeep for 9-10k and then have a stroker imported for 10-12k(with warranty)+ another 10k max for some necessary mods and body works..
One could have a beast ready for serious action.. 8)
guys please comment and share your views...

Absolutely true, but keep in mind that its not only engine. You have to consider the status of the suspension system, drive train (transfer case, gearbox, drive shafts, axles, differentials, break system) A/C etc etc....
You will end up spending 40-50k on repairs. Mind u heavy moded wranglers have about that amt for upgrades only.

Vikram, when I was buying my Wrangler I had the same idea in mind. I ended up buying a 46K Wrangler (To have a clean one) paid over 80K of modification, just paid 12K for body work and still thinking of the stroker which will cost around 20K to have it all done ... Go to Quadratec and check what can you get for 10K.
