no way is it factory fitted.
Nissan doesnt make a 5 litre engine to the best of my knowledge...the only 5 litre is the 5.6 317bhp-producing thumping V8 babyyyy
Titan & Armada use it...
no way 5ooo ccm engine in badrol...mafee...only 4.8l straight 6.
yknow , u can prob go and by special order have a 4.8 put into a SWB patrol...it'll cost u around 168.000 dhs...worth it!

Well as I said the car belongs to a friend. But here is the info I have:
5.0 Litter original Nissan V8 engine installed by the factory, the car was a special order by one of Dubai shaiks so you can imagine how loaded it is from the inside.
I know It was surprised when I saw it. As for the HP I have no idea but I can tell you that it has one hell of a kick and I think the top speed is 215 KM/H
My friend is getting different quotes from the second hand car dealers in dubai. Who ever is really interested just IM me and I will give you his mobile for setting up a meeting to see the car. (dubai only).

-The 3.7 L VQ37DETT is the same twin-turbocharged one..except this one is rumoured to produce 600bhp.
Couldnt find a single 5.0 litre V8 engine produced by Nissan...ever..and i really looked...i couldnt find a 5.0 litre 6 cylinder either...either 4.0 , 4.1 , 4.2 , 4.5 , 4.8 , 5.6.
its annoying me that i cant find this engine...does ur friend have more details..im genuinely interested...new toys
possible future plans after uni...LS1 or LS6 engine in something light... always wanted a V8!

hehe got the exact details like bhp&torque figures off wikipedia...
the rough facts i knew..like that nissan didnt make a 5.0 V8 & the 4.5 V8's in the Infinitis and the 5.6's in the armada's , titans , infinit qx56..and that they make the 4.0 , 4.1 , 4.2 , 4.5 , 4.8 , 5.6..
and those lovely VQ engines that will hopefully be in the new skyline GTR...wow...those engine's are bad @$$! the 3.7 , rumoured at 600bhp with twin-turbo's...wait til the freaks start adding NOS ,upgrading camshaft , rockers & the works to it...sexy...
hopefully one day i'll know how to do that kinda stuff without having to ask ppl for help!
