New seatbelts that arent that great - still have the old ones.
Gearbox , engine , axles , T-case , suspension , brakes , body , chassis are in good condition & have been taken care of.
All common YJ problems such as the following ,have been taken care of.
1- Faulty 4wheel drive due to leaking vacuum tubes -> 4x4 posi-lok system
2- Rusty A-pillars due to AC drip -> Rust removed & repainted.
3- AC broken - AC compressor has been replaced & ready to go.
4- Saggy leaf-springs - re-conditioned the leaves & added a leaf
5- Cracked headers - common on YJ's - PR replaced the headers when he had the car
6-Overheating - rusted radiator was thrown out , new radiator , lower temp thermostat , new thermostat housing to allow pressure buildup
7-Doors not opening or locking - taken doors apart , welded rods from latches to the locks.
Car is 100% street legal as it is ( ok maybe the tint
) , and it just passed re-registration last week without wasta - complete with bengali exhaust and extra lights.Extras : Bikini top (with windshield-header channel) , windjammer & duster deck cover all from Bestop in black , mirror movers with extra mirrors to run door-less.
I was bored and jst spent the entire weekend cleaning the car & decided today that i'm going to sell it. Next toy already in mind.
I've done the jeep thing , i've taken the car everywhere i wanted to take it , i've fixed it up on my own , gotten my hands dirty & had my fun.
