Pool Game Turny

While i was reeding thrugh I say that 1 of our dear Marshals nick name is 9ball.
i assumed that he is a pool player and got an idea of maybe we could have 1 weekend away fron the sand
and do some thing else, Maybe have a 9Ball and an 8Ball turny with 32 or 16 duble elimination .

Or we Can do a competion with other offroder clubs in abu dhabi , dubai and other emirates.

i dont know if there is any interest in these kind of socilizing event or not .
if there are interest then we can setup when and how it should done.

I dont know if ad4x4 allow for these post or not , it is just an idea
and if it is agians any rules , then my appologies

The way you talk about pool you seem to know about it! Of course I play pool, that's one of my main hobbies for the last 20 years. Would not be a problem for me to organize something, it would be interesting to find out from the rest of the team who plays pool as well. For a tournament am not sure how many people we would get, but it would have to be an amateur tournament for sure. If you are interested you and I could meet and play some 9-ball, 8-ball, 10 ball or whatever. Speaking of pool, starting tomorrow evening for the next 4 days at the Big Boys Toys Show in Abu DHabi there is a professional 9 Ball tournament. If you have your ticket come watch us play! Anyway, give me a call if you want to shoot some, may be you can teach me a trick or two.

Big Boys Toys Show is at ADNEC from Wednesday until Saturday. For your money's worth I suggest you come Friday or for the finals. Last year's final, race to 11, 8-3 for a guy who had eliminated the world champion Ralph Souquet earlier in the tournament. He misses a ball, the other guy gets up, runs 8 racks in a row for the win, never missed a ball, nothing the other guy could do about it. That's how strong the field was. I made it in the money, but those guys are in a different league!

By the way, should we decide to organize a tournament, I don't have to play in it. Last time we organized one for the hospital instead I set-up a fun Table on the side where people could play with me. Played 35 racks in a row or something. DId an exhibition.

this is a good idea, I'm planning a program for this summer for the club members, this program will include:

Fishing trips
paint ball
go-cart racing tournament
bowling tournament
and much more

adding the pool tournament will be a good idea.

i will arrange a meeting during the first week of april with members who are interested in helping arrange social events for the summer
