Countdown to THE EVENT for 2013 is well underway, and with that in mind, I am listing below the registered teams.

For the Scouts:

Wow, only three teams for navigators so far? And shockingly so many in the scouts with Marshals competing.

I have been telling myself
Might as well request a refund

best try and observe than participate.

Then again it's the chance to go loggerheads with the best in the club.

Wouldn't want to give up on that chance

What is this negative attitude ?!

Last year, we were 3 newbies and we still made it half way through the board beating higher ranking members including marshals!

(well, marshals got technical problems but, still, it counts !

)

The point is, Desnav is not about being the best driver (off course it helps) but more about being the best planner.
Know the capabilities of the drivers and their cars, learn about the terrain, manage risks, Plan accordingly and choose the best route. This is the key to winning DesNav.

Great post @ossme and @SSS.

It is definitely about attitude and also about having a great day out in the dunes. Planning is the key to this event, and also being prepared.

It will be a fab day, so please, get your teams registered asap.

But I forgot to tell you that I love challenges

If someone is looking to win without fun...then I would advise him to to compete "On Road"

Having done the GPS hunt i can sayy that if you can get the planning done well and have a good system and a logical approach to it, you will succeed.

To remember that success is not just in the prizes, its the goals that you set yourself.

and the best part will be the fun we have with friends and the stories we can share after and over and over again.
