2013 Desnav.. please Clarify

Dear Organizers

i was reading the following requirements : and i /we need your help to answer a few Qs.:

6. What equipment do I need?
a. flag and pole (CLEAR FOR US)

b. communication device and charger (My Communication Devise can last more than 24 hrs over and above i have spare one..DO WE STILL HAVE TO BRING CHARGER??)

c. recovery equipment to include tow rope, shackels, gloves, spade, jack,jackplate (CLEAR)

d. spare tyre (matching size)... (Yes,i do have A spare tyir that can fit if i have any problem ,however the size is not matching..Dear Organizers well you please clarify this issue)

e. vehicle to have suitable recovery points - front and back (CLEAR)

f. pen/pencil (OKAY)

g. pressure gauge & deflators (THE PRESSURE GAUGE IS IT A MUST ? with Regards To Deflators .. does the simple one is okay?)

h. GPS device (preferably 2 per team) (CLEAR)

i. basic first aid kit (CLEAR)

j. Air compressor (CLEAR)

k. basic tool kit (CLEAR)

7. What else do I need to bring?
a. Food, drinks, enough water to last the whole day (CLEAR)

b. Rubbish bags to take home all your rubbish as littering is not acceptable (for the whole team or by each car?)

c. If you are camping, then you will need to bring your camping equipment, which can be stored during the day (CLEAR)

d. Extra fuel – at least one jerrycan is mandatory (car without a second fuel tank) (CLEAR)

Last Question ... if any team failed to have some of the above ..what is the procedure ??

This is a check list to help members remember what they should bring..
we are a one Family club.. if one needed something he will get many to help... so if you forgot one item am sure others can spare it with you...

this is why you shouldn’t forgot .. Because others might need..

Thanks for the post and replies.

The email will be sent later tonight which will tell you exactly what you need as an individual and what you need as a team. Some items, such as the GPS (minimum 2 per team) or a flag pole and flag for each car are MANDATORY and if you do not have them, you will not be allowed to participate.

Some items are a suggestion, and some items can be shared between the team, for example, one compressor per team is fine.

The email will also give you the nearest ADNOC point, the entry point and the base camp point, and provide you with timings.
