FIRST TREASURE HUNT 2017 IS ON!!!

Dear off-roaders! Save the date!
AD4x4 club is organizing the first TREASURE HUNT on 10/02/2017.

TREASURE HUNT APPROACH POINTS

ENTRY/EXIT N23 28.191 E54 23.570
BASE CAMP N23 25.601 E54 30.298

Nearest ADNOC Al Fathiyah Petrol Station N23 39.013 E54 24.106

ALL UAE OFF-ROAD CLUBS ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE.

There will be two levels for participants according to track difficulty:
1. Hunters (intermediate-advanced level of difficulty)
Any one from advance and above can participate in this level.
2. Discoverers (newbie-intermediate level of difficulty)
Any one from newbie and above can participate in this level.

Rules:
1. Each team to consist of 3 cars.
2. Cars equipped with minimum 2 GPS devices.
3. All cars equipped with First Aid Kit, fire extinguisher, shovel, snatch strap and rated shackles, spare tire, proper recovery points, compressor (Will be checked by organizing team on arrival to welcome desk).
4. Extra 20 liters of petrol per car advisable.
5. All teams to be present at welcome desk for car checks and registration from 07:30-08:30 AM.

Event will start at 08:30 AM with welcome and briefing from the organizing team and snacks offered to all participants.
09:00 AM the hunt will start and all teams required to be back to start point latest by 16:30PM.
Late arrivals of teams will bring penalty of points (arrivals after 17:00 PM will be disqualified).
There will be treasures hidden on selected waypoints.
There will be one format of coordinates used.
Teams that have collected all flags and have the earlier arrival time will be the winning teams.
In case two teams have collected the same points, the time of arrival will determine the winner.
In the extreme case that two teams have collected the same points and arrive at the same time, the winner will be determined from shorter distance travelled according to the teams GPS recorded track.

Fees per team 200AED. Tickets have to be collected before the date of the event.

That is correct! Two GPS devices per team (as precaution in case one becomes faulty).

Who are the organizers?

Can marshals participate in a team?

In case of a team didn't arrive with 3 cars would it be disqualified?

Can a team of 3 marshals participate in the lower grade.

The marshal can participate as one of the team

Yes they can but in think if the will be together then they will be in hunter's level
