Goodby from Ancient Mariner

Alas I am being re-located to Spain by my company.

I have got so much pleasure from driving in the desert with AD 4x4 and met so many friends I cannot go without saying a big thank you.

In the past 51 months I have driven every weekend available and this made possible by the generous Marshals and experts/explorers of the club giving their time.

I can honestly say that on every trip I have learned something, either about driving, the desert, the vehicle or myself.

To all my friends in AD 4x4 I say goodbye and to everybody who has coached, instructed and helped me THANK YOU

Over and out!

Martin

Martin, such a shame to say farewell, but wish you the very best. You are always welcome should your toes touch these sandy shores in the future.

Always a pleasure to have you on my trips and a great pleasure to drive with you. There's always a passenger seat waiting for you.

You will be greatly missed.

All the best.

Hello Martin,
Really sorry to see you go.
It has been a great pleasure driving with you.
You will be missed but you will be remembered for many things including having coined the expression:
'Pajero means pop-out in Japanese'
Enjoy sunny Spain
Bon vent Ancient Mariner!
Olivier

Martin you will be sorely missed. Always great having you on a trip and always reassuring when you were a second lead or sweeper. Good luck for the future and happy to have you as a passenger anytime you want to go into the desert.

Lee.
