Disappointed with WM

Post by Vivan »

I have had a few issues with WM mainly with waiting times. The last time I had a breakdown issue and they were unable to take my car as they were “Very Busy” and had to wait over a long weekend. Then when they took the car in it took them 2 full days to figure out and fix a noisy pulley.

This time I tried to make a booking for a Service and the waiting time is over 6 working days as against their policy which states 3 working days.

Besides, I have been having issues with my central lock which they have not been able to sort out after several attempts.

Unfortunately I am stuck with WM for a while as I have extended warranty.

I know it’s probably a “Jeep Thing” but just wanted to know if anyone else is having similar issues with WM or is it just me.

try Nissan, or Toyota or Premiere Motors... then you will see how good WM is! at least they do not promise anything they cannot do.

We are the largest group that deals with WM ... Yes some times we have issues with them, but they sort things quickly and professionally

I really don't want to compare different brands here.. but anyway, I have experience with Nissan and completely agree with your statement. However, I have a Mitsubishi and had a Peugeot and never faced such issues. My question was clearly about WM to understand from regular customers.

PS - I am not complainting to WM here. I am just sharing my experience and want to hear about other experiences only.

I would take my Ferrari to WM if I had one, always had great service. Only negative thing is there is no bar in their workshop, could have a few pints before you grab a cab.

So Vivan, you are an off-roader, who joined us in 2009, you only have 18 posts so it seems that you are not interested in AD4x4 .... Why are you complaining here about WM? You can complain at your own FB page or in whatever group you go off-roading with. :)
