I fixed mine there as well. Also ask him for bump stops. The skid and the bump stops are a must for the FJ.

An investment to be considered. Any issues with warranty if skid plate changed? Or need to put the original one for servicing?

No issues I have it on every time I go there
As long as they have access to the oil filter which I have
