Weekend break - Fujairah or RAK

Post by seanofmacc »

Quick question to the enlightened please
Promised the wife and kids a weekend away (this weekend 7-9th May).
2 options that appear to be nice but never been to either

Rotana or Hilton in Fujairah

Hamra beach resort in RAK

If you have stayed would welcome your thoughts on the places

Rotana on Al acqa beach is the better one. The Hilton is more in the township and the beach is not as nice. Hamrah in RAK is great too.

Agree with kaylie , if you have the option of Hilton Resort & SPA in RAK it is also great

Going with kids I believe Hilton Spa in RAK is better

I will vote for Hilton Resort & SPA in RAK...beach and sea is better and more silent...if you want more entertainment than beach and sand, then goto Le Meridien in Fujairah since they have perfect pool-side activities..

I would suggest you Waldorf Astoria RAK (by Hilton). Spacious rooms (90 square metres & very huge balcony). It is very relaxing
