Advised needed - YJ 1995 leaf springs with 2" lift.

Post by Dune_Phantom »

A friend of mine is keen on selling his YJ 1995 manual transmission for 22K. The car has done 180K but is seemingly in good condition.

Is that a good price for the KMS done. I am keen to move to a Jeep (tried my hand on a WJ and was great) and have been looking for a manual tranny for a long time.

Please let me know if this would be a good Car. :?

Your best person to ask is Bio for things regarding the YJ. iirc the parts are really expensive even from the scrapper.

Hi Altaf,

22k seems pretty expensive for a YJ, even in great condition and manual; also I don't think it would manage advanced trips so well (I could he wrong!).

For comparison there's a quite clean looking 2004 WJ overland V8 on dubizzle dubai just now for 17k.. so probably 15 ish would get it?

Good luck!
