I decided to adopt a husky puppy. can any body help me to find one please ?

it's too hot 8 months of the year for a husky here. Dont be selfish, get another toy.

if you want a dog to run with, get a saluki.

I know a couple of breeders in Abu Dhabi with pedigree certificates but it wont be for free; now usually buying a pure breed husky puppy will cost around 7000 dhs; if you were very very very lucky to find one for adoption from the many K9 organizations here still it wont be free and it will cost u the adoption fees of around 2000 dhs.

now add to that the basic training required, which is not involving the movie scene kinda dogs it will cost u more fore those. another thing to keep in mind is to check the puppy prior to adopting one, as many huskys tend to have hip problems and even many take them for the blue eyes that might still have chance to actually have 2 different colors each eye having a color.

Please adopt! Generally The breeders and stores here in UAE are not as conscientious about the life of the puppy or its mother as we might like. Many get very sick and die as a result. There are HUGE numbers of dogs and puppies looking for new homes, pedigree and mix breeds, all you would have yo contribute would be costs for vaccinations and neutering, about a 1000aed (cheap compared with breeders!) do a google or Facebook search for group and charity details. From experience Huskies are amazing dogs but they require serious amounts of training and patience (stubborn and difficult to train!) also lots of exercise! I have a friend who runs hers for a hour on the beach every morning at dawn! Oh and they are by nature a hunting dog - if you're in the dunes with him watch out for gazelle, sheep, goats or camels ....they all make good prey!

and always remember please a dog will be with u for around 10 years; its a commitment that the dog is ready to do and be loyal to you; I hope many people who get a dog choose the right dog and show the same commitment the dogs do to their owners.
