2004 Wrangler Rubicon

Post by Gasface »

Hey guys,

A workmate of mine is getting really close to purchasing a 2004 Wrangler Rubicon with 180km. Do you have any suggestions on what sort of problems / issues he should keep an eye out for on the Jeep? I advised him not to purchase such an old car but he's new to UAE so it might have to be a learning experience for him. If any of you know anything to look for or watch out for regarding this model please suggest.

Many thanks!

It will be a very expensive experience for him. I would not consider high mileage 4x4 for offroading.
Did 650 Off Road trips so far (26- Jun-2022) and counting
Proud to be AD4x4 Marshal.......

If you haven't been to LIWA, you haven't seen the desert yet......Dare you follow me? !!!!

And if you haven't seen Jeeping in Moab, you don't know what you're missing.

Never settle for less....

For learning Pathfinder is the best and cheap solution... I bought it 8500AED model 2005, and it helps me to learn the things which i would never be able to learn on any other expensive cars...

Very good performance in desert, never have had any issue of power upto intermediate stage.

More over maintenance is also very cheap, so in a worst case if you destroyed the engine, used engine from sharjah 1400aed, gear box 800 Aed,

If you broke shocks absorbers than 120AED you can get the new one.
