Here is the version for the Nissan Patrol.

I'm currently working on constructing a stronger housing for the Nissan. It turns out that on extreme compression the long housing made from teflon will crack in half. i will post pics of the new version with aluminum housing soon.

Hani, after I saw the result of heavy compression, I dont' understand the idea of the housing. I am not an engineer, but it seems obvious that the bump stop can not expand in any kind of housing, without affecting the housing or ability to compress. A weak housing will break and a strong housing will reduce the compression.

in both the nissan and jeep only one of the ring is in the housing. for this reason i have 4 rings in the front and 4 in the rear instead of three by three.

if you fit the prothanes with out a housing to support them they will get damaged quickly.
in the jeep you can fit them in the front coil with out a housing because the coil diameter is not much greater than the prothanes themselves but unfortunately thats not the case in the nissan patrole, the front coils are just as wide as the rear .

hmmm ... the holding cup cracked in half.
And it was mounted on that strange longitudinal bracket (metal?), which is fixed via two screws. Not even drilled on one axle/line.
Can you still reconstruct on what geometrical axle it cracked in half?
Maybe because of load with an angle?

How is the cup mounted to the bracket? (one central screw? two screws? too tight?)

(There is a reason why the manufacturer recommends floating installation inside the coils  )

But good job any way ! Poor man's speed bumps soon for all

yes, same here... i'm at full compression on the back every time i reach the bottom of a dune, and that's probably what bent my rear axle. So either i have to get some stronger coils, or get bump stops!
