Actually they're doing the whole thing.

1) Long tube headers :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
2) Tube / Pipe to the back (much bigger then the old)
3) rebuild my existing dbPerformance catback to be able to cope with the throughput :twisted:

yes whatever let's see if it was worth the money & waiting, when the car is ready :/

50% good news, 50% bad news ...

Bad news first :
The wiring harness plugs do not fit the new ECM ! (For whatever reason - i'm tired to ask why such a problem is discovered NOW - and not when ordering the harness / ECM ??? ... )
Whatever a new harness is ordered 2 days ago and should be delivered in the next days.

Good news :
The car is back from the exhaust shop.
With all the new headers, new catback, new pipes to the back, an extra muroor muffler ...

The Corvette Alternator, Power Steering pump & A / C compressor arrived and are fitted these days ( inshallah ) while they're waiting for the new Harness.

Yes he is getting a "universal harness" & ecm - i think regarding to the piggy back situation - where the old ecm stays in place as well,
it's a hotrod harness.
But which one exactly ... i don't know.

I think I would be able to modify my existing Chevy caprice harness to be a "hotrod harness" myself.
A Hotrod harness only does engine management (all sensors, transmission etc) and you cut away all dashboard (gauges) communication EXCEPT the obd II port.
The US harnesses are nicely labeled etc ... but you never know if they come with the right plugs sensor side as well :?

hehe sure,

just rip of every not needed cable :-D ... sure i also know about the hotrod harness and i'd be
ok for doing it myself ... but its his job - and it seems once more there happened an error ...
For whatever reason - of course i think he should've known better ...
but what shall i say - we agreed on a fixed price... so it is like it is.

And i know he wants to finish the job as well ... so let's see and i'm hoping this drama comes to
a good end ;)

Ok ... small update :

The obligatory bad news first :

The harness needs more time to arrive here ... so maybe it's still 10+ days :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

The good news are to be seen on this pics :
It's a LS3 converted to it's Corvette version -> Corvette Header, intake manifold, alternator and so on...

regarding the engine mounts i must say i like it!
There's nothing cut on them - the bracket is much smaller then i thought it will be - so i think it's really ok this way.

Ok while they're waiting for the harness, they'll complete the missing pieces.
Hisham tries to find a bigger radiator on it's own - i'll wait and see if it works what he did.
I told him what i'm going to do with the car - so it should be able to run still with 60+ °C outside :twisted: ...

Actually as far as I can see from this pic: totally conformant to the Muroor regulations ... no mods in frame side ... cool!
