unfortunately it would not fit 05/06 TJs ... too many small differences: (Head: Intake/Exhaust mounting , Crank Position Sensor placing, OPDA, oilfilter etc...)
but up to 2001 TJs would be happiy with this block.

was just kidding about my idea ;) nice mod....

off topic: i found a way to vent the JK for free. remove the weather stripping on the back side of the engine bay! found it on the jk forum, and tried it! huge amounts of heat come out of there and it is a significant gap....of course, you will need to put it back on in the rainy season :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

anyway, if you passed then I will soon will follow !! :twisted:

Regarding the many other stuff .. !! :mrgreen:

Man, how can you order all of this? it will cost of shipping them will be almost as much as buying them .. :?

On the other hand, cool stuff !! 8-)

I'm thinking about buying a ready build 4.7L engine. 8-) Provided of course that I have a cheap method of shipping it from the stats. :?

But my current engine is still running strong and I'm pretty newb when it comes to driving in sand so those plans will come later (Maybe next summer!). :mrgreen:
The show off cars all get body kits registered ... even if they change the dimensions of the car.
This is a simple heat reduction hood ... only much cheaper than AEV ... I hope they do not make a story out of it. :?
Will see in November ... eventually I have to borrow Jalals blue hood.

The other stuff: Usually I order from jegs (the mechanical stuff) ... fast and not expensive ... never paid more than USD 130 for a shipment. (Summitracing IS expensive)
Then I ordered twice "some" stuff from 4wd ... last time about 140 pounds (the G2 axles are a bit heavy :lol: ) in three big boxes ... they had 20% site wide off ... and I paid USD 260 for shipping ... about what I have saved ... and it was here in 8 days via UPS!

Regarding a long block shipment : once I got a quote for about USD 400 from Titan ... I did not order because Titan does not have the best reputation and the 4.7 was/is too aggressive for my 42RLE ... the poor mans stroker is cheaper and milder. ;)

The idea of someone in Mussafah building my engine gives me shivers. :?

If I'm ever going to build a stroker (instead of buying it) I would do it slowly at home !! :D

USD 400 is not a bad price for shipment. Actually I'm really interested now !! :twisted:

to buy a stroker I would need the following list (I think)

Titan 4.7L Froged engine = $2,850
68mm Throttle body = $439.99
Fuel Injectors = $377.94
Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator = $219.99
Air Filter = already have it
cat back = already have it
headers = $457.99
Performance Chip = $263.99
Griffin 3" Radiator = $549.99

Total = $5159.89 (~ AED 18,990) !! :?

Suddenly, Doing a Hemi swap doesn't seem so expensive !! :oops:

Cybershot (Tobias) had his 4.7 stroker built by 7 Performance in Mussafah and he's very happy with it. Apparently they have a good reputation and have built a few race engines.

I will visit them and ask ... Tobias has not paid a huge premium on top of his parts to get the stroker done.
My estimate for a "Modified Poor Man's Stroker" in total would be around 10k (parts, shipping and 7P labour) ... khalas.

Tell me when you are going, Maybe they will give us "discount" if we built two engines togather !! :mrgreen:

Three engines would add another discount percentage, true? :mrgreen:
Can join you if you plan to go right after Xof's trip. :)
