But I think that you should somehow put a way to secure it from popping out accidentally. You know, something to hold the basket to the cabinet. :)
The closed back door??! ;)

There's still the rolling friction - and friction against the trunk ...
So until he did not polished the trunk it should not fall out.

The travel on the trays is limited by a length of rope.
Don't worry, it won't fall on anyone's foot!!!!

The exhaust came adrift on my last trip out (Frank the Jeep Buster) so a trip to 7P was in order.

It won't go fall off again....

A very nice spot. May well camp there next time.

Here is the KMZ. You can count the trees in Google Earth!!

http://www.quastel.org.uk/ForumPics/Cam ... 202011.kmz

It includes a description of the off road sections.

Got a bit bored over NY and also a bit fed up of Frankie's roof lining drooping on my head :stars:

SO:

Took the head liner and backing board out...

Image

Got rid of all the old foam backing that has come away from the roof liner.

Image

Gave it a fibreglass gel coat to toughen it up and provide the glue a good base

Image

Stuck on the new material

Image

All done

Image

Looking good.......
