THIS is the factory5 Mk4 roadster ... a nice cobra replica kit car!
http://www.factoryfive.com/kits/mk4-roadster/

Would be a dream to be able to assemble any kit here and to officially register it.
(A guy in dubai told me: no way  )

Huh ? I already registered and sold one! I currently ordered my second kit as I'm planning to build it in summer. :)

The idea is to import the Kit as a "car" and not as a kit.

I know few shops in Dubai who build and sell them. So, it is most propably yes, he is just trying to avoid competition!

Easy there guys. Don't hijack my thread. I should have the engine running by Friday and take the car for a shakedown test. Hopefully I won't have any oil/water/vacuum leaks to deal with.

Well, after all that hard work it seems I've resolved most of the engine issues. After I fired the engine up it had a nice, steady idle but it still seemed to be "hunting" a bit and running rich. I reckon that the O2 sensors are probably heavily contaminated so if cleaning them doesn't improve things, I'll look for good secondhand replacements.
I left the engine to idle for at least 10 minutes and there were no coolant/oil/vacuum leaks. The engine revved up faster when I blipped the throttle and it pulled more strongly during a 10-minute test drive. Performance seems to be back to where it should be. My modified crankcase ventilation system with DIY oil catch can works a treat and the crankcase is no longer being pressurized.
After the test drive there were still slight oil leaks from the front cover and rear crankshaft seal, but they were less than before and the valve cover oil leaks have been resolved. Hopefully the remaining oil leaks will eventually stop now that the crankcase is being properly scavenged by intake manifold vacuum.
I've come a long way since I bought the car and it runs/stops much better than before. I still have a few more issues to deal with but the project is going well so far. :D

I removed the front seats yesterday and took them to the upholsterers to replace the torn sections of leather. In the meantime I cleaned up the interior and treated the rear seats with some leather conditioner. I still need to vacuum the carpets but once I've got that done and the front seats are back in, the interior will look great.

He he, you should have seen how oily the engine bay was and how dirty the interior was just a month ago.
Now I'm busy tidying up the bodywork.
