The Unread topics counter

The unread topics counter seems to be stuck at 1001 for me. The figure does not chnage as I read on new posts and subjects. Is this a problem with my access page or is it and admin issue?

None of the above, u just need to read the unread, or mark it as read

as I read the new the old topics the counter should count down but it does not!

But it keeps coming, we are an active forum indeed
as u r reading old topics, new ones keep coming, if u r bothered by them, just mark them as read.

the number does not change as I read along ... even when i have cleared all th new posts it still reads 1001...Though to mention it to the web admin may be it needs to be fixed....but it bothers me none really.

Don,t worry about it buddy, I have been showing 1001 unread posts for years, no matter how many I read.
It will be fixed in the new website which Antrax has built into the 2030 Abu Dhabi Plan
